cm. and 16 pages of text. They comprise Book Typography, a handbook for book
designers by Hugh Williamson; The Literature of Bookbinding by ARA Hobson;
paper for Book Production by John Overton; A Bibliography of Book Illustration
by David Bland; Publishing from Manuscript to Bookshop by Philip Unwin, and The
Technique of Bibliography by David Foxon. The occasional minor wrinkle to a
cover but otherwise all in VG condition. £45
The Glass Tower, poems 1936-43, by Nicholas Moore, published by Nicholson and Watson, London 1944. A 1st edition. With drawings by Lucien Freud. In stiff boards size 22 by 14.5 cm. 128 pages. Front and back boards have a Freud illustration and there another 16 to the text (seven full-page and nine half-page) plus an illustrated title page. Some in colour. The first book to which Freud contributed. The dust-wrapper has been sympathetically restored but small parts of the two top corners of the front wrapper and several sections of the wrapper’s spine are new. Original owner’s signature in ink to front endpaper. Minor foxing to endpapers. Text, binding and artwork all VG with faults as described this is overall in Good condition. £225
